DAUPHIN COUNTY COURT OF COMMON PLEAS INFORMATION ON JURY SERVICE
The United States and Pennsylvania Constitution’s guarantee the right to a trial by jury and the effectiveness of our jury system depends on your willingness to serve and your ability to be fair and impartial while deciding the facts and applying the law. Most jurors find the experience to be educational and rewarding.
Anyone who is 18 years of age or older, a United States citizen, and a resident of Dauphin County is qualified to serve as a juror in Dauphin County unless you are unable to speak and understand the English language, you are incapable by reason of mental or physical infirmity to render efficient jury service or you have been convicted of a crime punishable by imprisonment for more than one year and have not been granted a pardon or amnesty.
