Hospital Authority
The Dauphin County Hospital Authority is a municipal authority duly incorporated and organized by Dauphin County under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania pursuant to the Municipality Authorities Act, 53 Pa.C.S. § 5601 et seq., as amended.
The Hospital Authority has been in existence since October 27, 1971. The Hospital Authority exists for the purpose of assisting and supporting hospitals and health centers located in Dauphin County with financing and refinancing of hospital-related projects. The Hospital Authority assists hospital and health-related organizations in the completion of capital improvement projects through the use of tax-exempt financing.
