Walk with a Doc - Reservoir Park

This Walk With A Doc program is designed to provide some general health information and a moderately-paced walk around Reservoir Park and the National Civil War Museum including a portion of the Greenbelt. It will be a 1.25-mile loop walking around Reservoir Park and the National Civil War Museum. A Park Rx wellness program sponsored by Highmark Blue Shield and supported by Penn State Health. -

Fall fruits are not just a favorite of squirrels and chipmunks! There are a few humans can enjoy as well. Take a walk with a Naturalist along the Towpath Trail to view and taste these curious fall fruits known as persimmons. Meet at the South Lot trailhead. -

The Cat in the Hat Learning Series - November 7
Join an Environmental Educator for fun interactive story session for children ages 3-5. Stories, rhymes, and a craft/activity will introduce science through the eyes of the Cat In The Hat. Classes are offered during 3 consecutive Thursdays. -
Wooden Bouquets to Brighten your Day
Join The Merry Woodsman, a local artist and woodworker for a workshop to create a wooden “bouquet.” Each participant will create their own arrangement, combining wooden pieces both milled and foraged. Use the many native tree varieties to assemble your own unique piece of art. A glass vase will be provided, nestled in a wooden base. -
Volunteer Work Day – Park Rx
Take this opportunity to work outside and help Wildwood’s continued park and habitat enhancement projects. Tools and work gloves provided.
