Beginner Fly-Tying Course with Trout Unlimited
This is a beginner course open to anyone interested in learning to tie flies. The class will be conducted on 6 consecutive Thursday evenings beginning on February 12 and ending on March 19. Everyone must provide their own tools. -
Intermediate Fly-Tying Course, “Tying the Dry Fly” with Trout Unlimited
The Doc Fritchey Chapter of Trout Unlimited will hold a 6-week evening course on intermediate fly-tying at the Olewine Nature Center. The class will be conducted on 6 consecutive Thursday evenings beginning on February 12 and ending on March 19. -

Introduction to Plarn
Plarn is a word that combines the terms “plastic” and “yarn.” It is the process of creating a usable upcycled yarn out of plastic grocery bags. Participants will learn how to make “plarn” out of their plastic bags at home and begin making a small bag. -
